If you wish to lend, here are some step-by-step instructions.
Step 1: Browse through the projects.
Step 2: Select a project/entrepreneur you would like to lend to.
Step 3: Send an email to support@emicrocredit.com. Tell us about yourself, who you would like to loan to, and how much. Make an optional donation to eMicrocredit's operational expenses by adding an appropriate amount.
Step 4: You will receive a voucher from us by email. Pay through PayPal's secure website or a credit card.
Step 1: Write your check payable to "Hope Foundation" (eMicrocredit is an initiative of the Hope Foundation). Tell us about yourself, who you are lending to. Make an optional donation to eMicrocredit's operational expenses by adding an appropriate amount.

When your check payment has been processed, we will notify you by email. There may be a processing fee for making check payment.
Note: You will need a PayPal account to withdraw repaid loan funds. eMicrocredit does not send check payments for account withdrawals.
To create your eMicrocredit account, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to support@emicrocredit.com. Tell us about yourself. Propose your username.
- You will receive an email with your username and temporary password.
- Go to www.emicrocredit.net and log in with your username and password. You can edit your profile.
After you lend, your eMicrocredit account gets created on www.emicrocredit.net with access to the project/entrepreneur. You can log into your account at any time and click "Projects" and get involved in the project/entrepreneur that you support -- its tasks, cases, milestones, to-do lists, profiles, blogs, and files.
eMicrocredit provides a data-rich, transparent lending platform. We are constantly working to make the system more transparent to show how money flows throughout the entire cycle, and what effect it has on the people and institutions lending it, borrowing it, and managing it along the way.
You will be notified by email each time a repayment is made and credited to your eMicrocredit account. You can then re-lend your funds, donate them to eMicrocredit or withdraw them into a PayPal account.
eMicrocredit lenders reside all over the world. You may be charged a currency conversion fee. PayPal processes all of eMicrocredit's financial transactions, regardless of whether you pay with funds from a credit card or a PayPal account.
At eMicrocredit, we break up loans into shares of $20. For this reason, the minimum amount that you can contribute to a loan is $20.
You can lend more than $20 to a project. In your email to support@emicrocredit.com, tell us how much you would like to lend.
When you lend through eMicrocredit, your payment is processed by PayPal, regardless of whether you use funds from a credit card or a PayPal account to complete your purchase. After completing a transaction, you will receive an email from PayPal confirming your payment.
You will, of course, receive a receipt from eMicrocredit.
eMicrocredit does not charge a lending fee and sends 100% of your loans to the borrowers listed on the site.
We support our operations through donations that our lenders voluntarily make in addition to the loans they make.
If you'd like to support eMicrocredit by donating to eMicrocredit's operational expenses at any time, you can do so by sending an email to support@emicrocredit.com . We will email you a voucher for payment through PayPal or a credit card.
Lending and donating on eMicrocredit are two distinct actions. When you lend funds to an entrepreneur through eMicrocredit, there is an expectation of repayment, so your loan is generally not tax deductible.
However, eMicrocredit is an initiative of Hope Foundation which is a registered non-profit organization. When you lend through eMicrocredit, you will have an opportunity to make a donation to eMicrocredit's operational expenses, or you can do so anytime by sending an email to support@emicrocredit.com
